Responsibilities
- Perform thorough diagnostic evaluations of vehicles using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair all vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and performance systems.
- Identify and solve complex vehicle issues, ensuring solutions that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to perform accurate and efficient evaluations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate dependability by arriving on time, completing work on schedule, and adhering to facility protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to continually improve processes and efficiency.
- Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
- ASE Certifications
- 5+ years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Integrity and a commitment to ethical work practices.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and other automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Own a comprehensive set of hand tools for auto repair.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and brakes.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- High level of problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transmission repair and replacement.
- Previous experience performing advanced engine diagnostics.
- Experience programming modules.
